Got God?
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV Bible) Says : " Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Many of us go through tough times in our lives.....Some have only had a tough life. No matter what your story.....no matter what your life situation..... God is the answer. You may be happy, prosperous, and highly intelligent, you may be very poor, sad and weak......you may have issues with drug addiction, sexual immorality (in deed and or in your mind) You may simply just have an emptiness in your gut that you can't ever seem to fill. Maybe your marriage is falling apart, your kids are out of control..... You may be considering suicide... So many different scenarios exist today. God is the answer to all of them. John 14:6 says "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
The search for the "fountain of youth" or "immortality" Has been going on since the begining of time. It seems rather foolish to those who watch the "searchers" continue to search for something that obviously doesn't exist. Or??? Perhaps it does......people can believe in a treasure map, a silly newspaper article or what they see on T.V. but can't seem to Grasp the existence of God. Many believe in Angels.....many believe in Heaven and even expect to go there! Well if there is indeed a heaven....... (Let's just take the common sense approach here) there must indeed be a Hell too! If there is good, there must be evil. Where does good come from? Where does evil come from?
If there are good angels......yes, there must be bad angels too.
Forget about "religion" or "church followers" Just think common sense.....every day life. Where there is good.....evil has ALWAYS been its counterpart. Where there is God....yes, there must be the Devil. About God.......there is but 1 God. Think Logically folks.... God means what? To me God means the highest existing person or entity or power......thus "GOD" there can only be "1" ruler of the world, universe, almighty, all seeing "God" otherwise how could any being even be considered to be "God"?
Many these days are self proclaimed "gods" :O) Sure!!!! So like you can see the future, know what your neighbors are doing and best of all.....you know when and how you will die and are in control of it WITHOUT using the cop out tactic of Suicide. Sorry friends.......there are no "self proclaimed gods" okay, they are out there but not really "God" at all. Simply......."self" proclaimed. I can "proclaim" to be anything I want! That doesn't make it a fact. :O)
How many of you worry about our worlds present condition? Well I wish I could say there is nothing to worry about but.....I believe for the unsaved soul there is much to worry about. The United States was founded on Christian principles! Because of this........the U.S. has been "blessed" by God for centuries! Now look at our moral decay....we have allowed false gods and idol worshipers in and allow them to dictate life here just as they do in their "un blessed" countries. Did you ever wonder "why" America has always been so blessed? It is I believe because God did initially bless us.......as we now as a nation turn from God and what is right according to God.......we are no longer being blessed like we used to. We now are becoming A house divided against itself FULL of sin and wickedness. God will not bless sin.....
We will face Gods judgement here in the U.S. if we do not turn from our sin.....
John 3:16-21 Says : For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned : but he that believeth not is condemed already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Okay, so the Son of God (Jesus Christ) came to "save" the world. However, to be "saved" we must what? For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Luke 13:3 says : "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent,ye shall all likewise perish".
